What does Chibi mean?

Chibi ちび or チビ is a Japanese slang word, a combination of Bi & Chisai meaning "short person" or "small child".  In English speaking anime and manga fandom, Chibi denotes a style of drawing characters or animals with oversized heads or disproportioned (cute) bodies and also as a means of describing children or small versions of characters.

A big thank you to LoneTiger who has pointed out that the manga  *"Dragon Half"  contains the "best combination of "Chibi", "Kawai" and "Super Deformed" all separate at times or all 3 combined together"

*"Dragon Half" from mangaka  Ryuusuke Mita, is based on the adventures of a half-dragon-half-human girl whose love for a popular dragon-slayer leads her on a quest to find a potion that will make her fully human.
