Atonement Green Dress Keira Knightley
Voted the greatest movie costume of all time in polls run by Sky Movies, Style magazine and Time. Costumer Jacqueline Durran was the genius behind the 1930s styled, emerald green, bias-cut silk charmeuse halter gown.
The costume was worn by actress Keira Knightley in the film Atonement, released 2007.
In 2008 Keira Knightley donated the dress for charity auction where it was sold for a staggering $46,000 at ClothesOffOurBack.org (now closed) with the proceeds going to Variety – The Children’s Charity of Southern California.
